Verdict
STORMIN CROSSGALES beat the re-opposing Cap Du Mathan at Wincanton on his chasing bow and the latter has won twice subsequently. Tom George’s charge looks worth sticking with over this extra distance. Whistleinthedark has won both starts over fences so far having come out best in a match at Wetherby last time though is a massive 21lb higher than his earlier victory in a handicap. By contrast, Any News has tumbled down the weights and posted a better effort here when fitted with a tongue-tie while Triple Trade has won off a higher mark over hurdles.
