In depth

Verdict

RUSSIAN STORM bids for a hat-trick under a penalty but appeared to have plenty left in the tank when landing a double at Lingfield a week ago. This looks no tougher and Pat Phelan's filly is taken to go in again. Warbond scored here in February but will need to dig a bit deeper off his current mark if subsequent efforts are anything to go by and he's closely matched with Karate on earlier running over C&D. Querido looks a shade high in the weights at present and the same comment applies to Handsome King who wears blinkers for the first time today. Gallantry is usually thereabouts in this grade and can make the frame once again.
