In depth

Verdict

Rated 93, IL PRIMO SOLE has the form in the book having been beaten only a neck at Lingfield in November. The runner-up has since landed a double and John Gosden’s colt gets the vote on that form. Hombre Casado showed improvement to finish fourth here recently when just ahead of Pivotal Man while Tahreek and Gilded Hour are others to consider as they return to action. Of the newcomers, Bold Warrior is related to a couple of winners but the Godolphin grey Major Partnership is preferred as he cost 200,000gns and is entered in the Dante.
