        Verdict

        William Buick partnered Gameplay when the latter was well beaten at Chelmsford but rides Pure Diamond in this as the latter drops in class. Spanish Boy has claims on his debut fourth at Salisbury and is preferred to the likes of Kasseopia, Laafiraaq and Ocean Ready but a speculative vote goes the way of DU MOTO. The latter faded in the closing stages at Sandown on his debut having helped set a decent pace but Sir Michael Stoute's colt should settle better with that experience under his belt.
