    Verdict

Duration won at Newcastle when stepped up to 2m and Swordbill makes a quick reappearance having won over 1m5f at Chelmsford just three days ago. Saint Mac only found one too good over today’s trip at Southwell recently and Folies Bergeres went close over 1m6f at Wolverhampton last month but GENERAL ZOFF scored at Beverley in July and, after finishing second in a higher grade contest at Thirsk last time, Bill Muir’s charge gets another chance in this company racing off the same mark.
