Verdict
We open with a small field claimer and on these terms FARNCOMBE and Too Tall are closely matched but with the former on slightly better form after victory last time out we side with Ron Harris' charge while Why Nee Amy remains a danger. A repeat of the pick's performance when an easy winner of a similar race over distance at Lingfield will be easily good enough here and with there a possibility there is more to come she might take some stopping. Too Tall has been in contention on each of her last four starts but just keeps coming up short. Those runs were all in handicap company so while we respect her now dropping down in grade we are unsure whether this trip suits. Why Nee Amy has a bit to do at these weights but is consistent and should be in the mix and True Decision is also weighted for place claims. It's not a bad start to proceedings and it looks a good opportunity for Farncombe to follow up if in the same mood.
