In depth

Verdict

Pirate King completed a hat-trick at Lingfield at the turn of year but hasn’t raced since and returns to action 8lb higher. JOHNNY DRAMA has been raised 6lb but won going away over 1m3f here on his debut on the all-weather and Andrew Balding’s charge looks worth following with more to come on this surface. Cepheus remains 10lb higher than when successful at Goodwood during the summer while Tonyx is usually thereabouts without winning.
