FORMIDABLE GUEST seems to acts on any of the Polytrack surfaces and can complete a hat-trick here at the main expense of Cinematic. Jeff Pearce has his runners in fine fettle and the selection has won back-to-back Wolverhampton races of late, plus at Lingfield over today's trip prior to that. A 6lb penalty here won't make this easy but the mare is in superb form and should be followed. Cinematic could prove a serious threat. Trip and surface also suit and he just failed to hang on last time, so from the same mark he will be very competitive. Mayfair's Future was a winner over this distance at Great Leighs in November but that was a maiden and he was comfortably beaten from this mark in a handicap last time. Majehar is not out of it after a 1lb drop since his last run and can get heavily involved, while money for Imperium at each way prices would be a plus and with Jim Crowley booked he is interesting. Formidable Guest is taken to score.
