Highland Acclaim finished ahead of Shamshon and Related in the Portland at Doncaster but it's more than three years since his only previous run on Polytrack. DOUGAN has a brilliant record on the surface, however, having won four times and been second twice. He's been highly tried on Turf since winning over course and distance in April and can score again back on his favourite surface as he was drawn on the 'wrong' side when just behind Cartmell Cleave, Shamshon and Mustallib at Ascot last time. Seychelloise is another all-weather specialist and though Muir Lodge is probably a couple of pounds too high he shouldn't be far away. But Alqubbah is probably best watched following a three-month absence.
