In depth

Verdict

Oh Crick is very well treated on his best form but probably isn't the force of old. Oscar Hill, Gallox Bridge and Able Deputy are others returning from a break and probably best watched unless attracting market support but Cap Elorn deserves a crack at this higher level having run up a four-timer at Worcester and Huntingdon. The latter's stable companion, Giant O Murchu, won at Stratford last month but may be back in the handicapper's grip now and ALFRAAMSEY looks a better bet. Sheena West's gelding has been a real money-spinner for connections as he was versatile on the Flat and has already won four times over hurdles, including at Plumpton four weeks ago. Also a winner over fences, he's unexposed over the larger obstacles and will handle this sharp track better than most.
