Aqua Ardens seeks a five-timer but whether he'll be able to translate his improvement from Turf to the all-weather is anybody's guess. Ishikawa hasn't raced since June but is proven on Polytrack while the lightly-raced Glorious Sun is on an upward curve, though is up in grade tonight. Both of Unforgiving Minute's victories have come here and, though he's climbing the weights, the top weight can't be ignored and Outer Space hasn't done much wrong lately. The hat-trick seeking Geordan Murphy also warrants a second look as he's improved since finishing behind Glorious Sun in a maiden here in September. KNIGHT OWL has an outside draw to overcome and has yet to win on the all-weather. But he was beaten less than two lengths over course and distance last month when given plenty to do and has the beating of Jodies Jem on that run. James Fanshawe's charge could go close today if ridden nearer the pace.
