In depth
Verdict
CHANKAYA ran out of steam over today’s trip at Lingfield on his return though only gave way in the closing stages. He should go close in this and makes more appeal than both Horn Of Plenty and Tamaris, who also have recent outings under their belts, the former only just failing to make all at Newmarket on Friday. Jim Crowley prefers Almighwar to the newcomer Thakwaan as the former steps up from a mile while Pagaille is related to a couple of useful middle-distance winners and Feldspar is a half-brother to a Group 3 winner.
