Verdict

Quel Destin switched yards after winning at Auteuil in March and found only one too good at Chepstow on his first start for Paul Nicholls. The latter bids to win this for the third time in succession but fast ground may not be ideal for his charge and GHOST SERGE is preferred. Sophie Leech’s grey won a maiden hurdle at Perth by five lengths last month and is taken to defy a penalty. Vlannon was placed at Fontwell on his hurdling bow and can figure while Tazka is another import having had four starts on the Flat in France without success. Yamuna River hasn’t won on the level either but is partnered by Richard Johnson for her hurdling bow.
