Verdict

FONTANO was noted staying on strongly over 2m4f at Ascot last time having got outpaced when the leaders quickened on the final circuit. He should have no problem with the longer distance on this sharp track and can finally open his account over timber. Georgian King has already won over the trip and his comeback fourth at Cheltenham suggests he's well enough handicapped nowadays, but the jury is out on Cool Strike after another failure at Huntingdon and Amore Mio is edging up the weights again despite not winning. Mzuri Bay has gone up 3lb since finishing second at Plumpton and both Seven Days and Spanish Cruise are unreliable.
