        Verdict

        COPPERWOOD has won both starts since joining Mark Johnston and may not have finished yet. He scored easily over a mile at Southwell last week and the previous C&D winner is fancied to defy a penalty here. Royal Bajan has been in winning form over the minimum trip but has yet to attempt today's distance, while Tiradito and Mishrif are closely matched on their recent running at Lingfield with the latter expected to come out best on this occasion. Satwa Laird has struggled in handicaps since recording a double in claiming company and Amazon Twilight looks a bigger threat on her recent third over C&D.
