        Verdict

        Newcomer RED SPIDER is taken to break his maiden tag first time of asking with both Celtic Commitment and Cut And Thrust worth noting in the betting market. The form on offer is not great so the selection would have to be no world beater to land this contest. The Gosden stable have a good strike rate with their debutants so he is worth keeping a close eye on in the betting ring. Celtic Commitment has shown little on both outings to date and will need to show improvement to win. Cut And Thrust will possibly fair better after finishing mid field in an average looking maiden at Kempton on his debut. This is a poor event and Red Spider can surly be good enough to win on his debut.
