Verdict
STONEACRE PAT is preferred to Twosheetstothewind and Wynberg. The selection made a slow start when last seen out at this track but he finished with a degree of purpose and in this weak race, he has obvious formbook claims. Twosheetstothewind has declined somewhat over the course of the season but has been dropped down the weights accordingly. A first time visor is applied. Wynberg would have claims on some of his better form and Jamie Spencer is booked. Dancing Mystery is 14 years young and can be anticipated to be heading home better than many of his younger rivals. Nawaaff is nicely drawn tonight but lacks the early pace required to take advantage. Musical Script has won just two of his many starts and invariably hits the frame in races of this nature. Spic N' Span ran his best race for some time in a maiden at Wolverhampton and is persisted with in the cheekpieces. Stoneacre Pat is selected in the hope that he doesn't leave his race in the gate.
