Verdict
San Benedeto developed into a useful chaser last season, winning six times. But he's one of a quartet reappearing in this following a break including last year's well-beaten fourth Rayvin Black. OLD GUARD (NAP) has the same rating as his stablemate and made a highly satisfactory return to action in a Grade 3 at Chepstow last week. He raced over further in the main last season but has won over this trip at a high level and was fourth in the Christmas Hurdle here in 2015 so is no slouch. Optimus Prime is a useful handicapper but has yet to score since arriving in this country.
