MAGICINTHEMAKING gained her fourth track success with a comfortable victory over 7f earlier this month and a 3lb rise can be overcome. Jack Ryan ran well at Southwell the same day though an all-weather strike-rate of 1-26 is off-putting. It's almost a year since Twentysharesofgrey won a race and she's still 5lb higher after a couple of narrow defeats at Wolverhampton. Lothian has dropped to a very winnable mark and followed a good run here in October with another at Lingfield ten days ago while Admirable Lad, who completed a hat-trick last summer, is only 1lb higher than his last winning mark.
