In depth

Verdict

Just a quartet turn out for this handicap chase and KING BREX is the one to beat, with Sebastiano and Alesandro Mantegna the leading dangers. The selection attempts to complete a hat-trick here and is an improver, having scored at both Plumpton and Sandown this year. Good ground suits Charlie Mann's gelding, as does this track and trip and he will be very hard to topple. Sebastiano has been very consistent for Gary Moore and that was rewarded with a chasing win at Plumpton last time. Most of his form has been on soft ground, but he does act on good, and he could go very close. Alesandro Mantegna has made the frame in two chases to date, including last time at Ffos Las. The minimum trip and good going suits and he is open to improvement. Jigsaw Dancer is hard to recommend at present and King Brex is the selection.
