Verdict
PRIMO DE VIDA has been knocking on the door of late and is taken to get his head in front at the expense of Texan Star and Barlaman. The selection is only lightly raced with six runs under his belt. He looks a progressive type and has improved with each and every run. He was not beaten far when sent off favourite at Southwell last time out and ought to be winning a race of this nature sooner or later. Texan Star ran a personal best at Lingfield last time after finishing third of eleven and if he can recapture that form he sure to be in the shake up come the business end of the race. Barlaman is still winless in ten starts but has run some decent races in defeat. The handicapper keeps giving him a chance and it will not be long before he lands himself in the winners enclosure. Primo De Vida is the talking horse in the race and with luck in running he is sure to give his supporters another good run for their money.
