Verdict
This is a very trappy looking handicap and so a sporting vote is given to Piano Player, with Blackmail and Jomus the two ,likely dangers. Piano Player unseated his rider last time at Bath, but had previously gone well in a good claimer at Salisbury. He landed a Lingfield handicap off a similar mark back in April and so has to have obvious form claims. Blackmail continues in good heart and ran another solid race at Brighton last time. If in the same mood he will be hard to keep out of the places. Jomus has also to be given a squeak following a terrific effort over course and distance last time when just beaten by Magic Warrior. Scotch Mill and Kingsholm are also worthy of a mention, but the pick of the weights could be Piano Player.
