        Verdict

        Penarth Pier finally won a handicap when scoring here a week ago though needed a longer trip than this to do so. Tiger Lyon moves in the opposite direction having gone close over the minimum trip at Wolverhampton but ROARING RORY was placed over course and distance last time. Ollie Pears’ charge finished in front of Billyoakes on that occasion and is taken to get his head back in front. Patrick was narrowly beaten at Newcastle when last on the all-weather while Englishman could go well having plummeted down the weights.
