In depth

Verdict

Exeter third Dashaway seems to enjoy a soft surface and should be winning soon. So Oscar will enjoy this step up in trip, as will New Horizons who was always struggling to go the pace over 2m2f at Fontwell but kept on well in the closing stages. ABITOFBOB probably came up against a decent sort in Jollyallan in a Wincanton bumper in April. He was clear of the third and could be worth an interest on his jumping debut as he has more scope than penalised course and distance winner Brother Ted and Hurricane Vic.
