In depth

Verdict

Contra Mundum, Megalala and Arthurs Dream make most appeal in the finale with Contra Mundum preferred. The selection ran out a ready winner at Southwell last week and should go close here if proving as effective on this surface and if he doesn't have too hard a race on Thursday as he holds an engagement at Southwell. Megalala is in fine form at present and has held off the challenges of Ernmoor and Sorbiesharry on her last two starts but she has no easy task on tonight's terms. Arthurs Dream and Come What July went well enough last time to enter calculations with Mtoto Girl another to consider. She showed her first signs of ability last time and looks certain to be suited by this longer trip so keep an eye on her but Contra Mundum gets our vote.
