        Verdict

        Seeking Magic won this off a similar mark in 2015 and scored at Nottingham on his penultimate start. But JAYWALKER won at Newcastle on his seasonal debut and went close again at Ripon last time. He gets a speculative vote with none of these arriving in top form though both Barrington and Naadirr drop in class and may finish closer as a consequence. Goodwood Crusader has looked in the handicapper's grip since rattling-up a five-timer earlier in the year but Stellarta and Tropics slip further down the weights.
