In depth
Verdict
Topweight Ballyvaddy makes his return over hurdles off a 10lb higher mark than when winning at Ludlow in April and may just need the run after a lengthy lay off before going back over fences so we prefer to side with Supreme Arrow, who gets the verdict over the consistent pairing of Jonalton and Ela La Senza. The last two mentioned have been running well this term but seem plenty high enough in the weights now and the latter is held by the selection on running at Stratford last time. Supreme Arrow made all of the running that day, showing no signs of stopping on what was her seasonal reappearance and she is taken to follow up. Periwinkle Lad ran well enough at Fontwell last time to suggest that he could be a threat but Supreme Arrow holds solid claims and should take all the beating again.
