Verdict

Mark Johnston had six consecutive winners before a couple of recent defeats ended the run so it would be no great surprise if STAGECOACH DANMAN, who is closely related to seven winners, were to make a winning start. John Gosden sent Area Fifty One, a son of Montjeu out of Musidora winner Secret History, here for his debut last month though the mile trip will have been too short and better is expected. Hope It Is made a decent start at Lingfield and will have come on for the experience, but Riot Police didn't appear to exert himself in the finish in a Wolverhampton handicap last week and is best watched.
