        Verdict

        Jojesse is given a narrow vote in a wide open contest, Scarlet Heart and Priceless Melody look to be the main rivals. Alan Swinbank is a rare visitor to this track and Jojesse has shown enough in a couple of runs this season to suggest he will not be far away here. His second placing behind Bentley over this trip at Southwell was given a real boost last week with the well beaten third landing a competitive race. With improvement to come, Jojesse should be up to winning a race of this nature. Scarlett Heart is another lightly raced type and has shown plenty of ability in maidens to suggest she is fairly treated for her handicap debut. Priceless Melody ran well when dropped to the minmum last time and has solid place claims. The pick of the others could be Ioweyou, but our idea of the winner is Jojesse.
