In depth

Verdict

Bobs Worth has only tasted defeat once under Rules and that was in a bumper at this track on his racecourse debut. He was well ahead of Teaforthree when winning the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at The Festival in March, just a day after GRANDS CRUS finished second in the World Hurdle, and beat the smart Cue Card on his first start over the larger obstacles at Newbury but David Pipe's grey may have his measure here. The latter only had to be pushed out to beat the well-regarded Sonofvic at Newbury last time having impressed at Cheltenham earlier and may have too much speed for the Henderson gelding. Silviniaco Conti tries a new trip and looks held by the principals on a line through Cue Card, while Mr Moonshine doesn't look good enough in this grade and the mare Emmaslegend may also be found wanting.
