Verdict
There is untapped potential with Doesyourdogbite but wins at Market Rasen and Hereford may not amount to much and he doesn’t look particularly well treated on his handicap debut. Instant Karma ran a cracker in a race that worked out well at Ascot in October but tries a new trip here. Big Chief Benny wasn’t beaten far at Doncaster earlier this month but has been no favours by a 3lb rise. Neither of the placed horses have franked Lisheen Prince’s Ffos Las win but it would be no surprise to see Spiritofthegames bounce back from a first defeat at Cheltenham and he makes more appeal than the likes of Omessa Has and Dell' Arca. SOUTHPORT handled to the step up to 2m4f at Ffos Las and was possibly a shade unlucky. He looks a tough individual who should give punters a run for their money in a competitive finale.
