In depth
Verdict
With stamina doubts about a number of these it could pay to side with Tom's Prize who has won over this trip and will be suited by the ground. He jumps well, in the main, and goes well for today's jockey. Native Man has the tongue-tie refitted today after disappointing last time out. If reproducing the form of his penultimate run he should go close for his in-form trainer. Stablemate Clan Royal is interesting off this mark and looks sure to be suited by this step up in trip. Lord North was impressive when winning last time out but he is not guaranteed to stay this trip and may be worth just watching especially if he starts a short price. Lord Moose did not seem to be at his best when beaten the last twice. If returning to his old form he could go well off this weight. Merchants Friend was not disgraced off this mark and over course and distance last time out and if putting up a repeat performance he hold every chance.
