        Verdict

        Rampant Lion won over track and trip in November and is closely matched on collateral form with recent runner-up Intrepidly, who finished in front of Enzemble here on that occasion. Samphire Coast counted Me Too Nagasaki and Regulator among his victims when also winning here a fortnight ago and has only been raised 4lb but Rock Icon remains 10lb higher than when winning at Bath last summer. INTENSE STYLE returned to action with a recent neck defeat over today’s distance at Newcastle and Les Eyre’s charge is taken to go one better in this with Jane Elliott’s allowance in his favour.
