        In depth

        Verdict

        Intrepidly has a 7lb hike to contend with having won at Windsor in July and Alfarris has the more recent form with last month’s success at Doncaster but is upped in class today. Bush House finished just ahead of Al Hamdany when placed over track and trip last time and Koeman was beaten less than a length here on his latest start. But EMENEM went close in a higher grade handicap at Goodwood last month and Simon Dow’s colt should make another bold bid in this with a similar effort.
