        Verdict

        A desperately poor contest with QUANTUM DOT getting only a token vote. He's tumbled 21lb down the weights this year and finished a bit closer at Wolverhampton last time. Fairy Wing and Waabel are others on the slide while Diamond Solitaire managed a fourth over 5f last month in between her more usual poor efforts. Sweet Piccolo made the frame at Brighton back in May but any other worthwhile form is in short supply.
