Verdict

Stream Of Stars is a promising novice having a first run in a handicap but there were excuses from ROWLAND WARD’s poor run in the Greatwood at Cheltenham last month. He has a solid record in big-field handicaps at this level and has dropped to a decent mark, holding recent Wincanton winner The Widdow Maker on Aintree form in the spring. Timberman can confirm course and distance running with Just The Man, despite worse terms, and should be thereabouts again while Captain Morgs still appears to be heading in the right direction but Hacker Des Places may be best watched on his return under top weight. John Locke will need more while Royaume Uni was engaged in the 2.17 Fontwell yesterday.
