      Verdict

None of these inspire confidence in a poor handicap and a purely speculative vote goes the way of ILLUSTRIOUS LAD. He finished third over track and trip a week ago with Slatey Hen back in fifth and drops down a grade for this. Blue Noodles finished ahead of Flaxen Lake when placed in similar company here earlier this month and had Kaylee behind when fourth on his latest start over 7f. Rightcar showed signs of a resurgence at Wolverhampton last week and is another to consider off his current mark.
