Verdict
Island Swing will take some catching here and we fancy he will have them all at it and can land this nursery from The Crooked Ring and Piddies Pride. The selection has made all to score on his last two starts, when taking sellers at Haydock and York, both over this trip and on fast ground. Granted, he will need to improve a little more to complete the hat-trick here, but he looks to be progressing to some degree and we will side with him to score. The Crooked Ring has to give them all weight and his length defeat of Doctor Hilary at Ayr last time reads well enough. He will be thereabouts sure enough, but he is just overlooked here. Of the remainder, the hat-trick seeking Piddies Pride would have to come into calculations on the same basis as the selection. A winner of two sellers, at Brighton and Folkestone recently, she also looks an improver and she can give the selection most to do. However, Island Swing is in great form and will take some catching.
