In depth
Verdict
Ivor was well beaten when last of three at Brighton and looks well exposed. Ya Hayati was well supported here earlier this month and showed good pace throughout though didn't find as much as expected. Cipango showed up well at Doncaster in June and again when battling on over this trip at Chelmsford in August so can be expected to make further progress as can Gibraltar, who missed the break at Nottingham. Cemhaan has a middle-distance pedigree so could be one for next year, a remark that also applies to Nashy, a son of Camelot out of a Group 3 winner. PAWPAW is by Showcasing so should have more speed than most of these and his dam is from the family of Lend A Hand so he's handed the vote in a tricky maiden.
