      Verdict

      Having been dropped a further 5lb in the weights, SAFFIRE SONG found only one too good at Lingfield last week. She looks up to to scoring off today's mark on that evidence and gets the vote in a poor handicap. Diamondsinthesky has been threatening to open her account on the Fibresand and the handicapper has given her a chance by lowering her 3lb after a third at Southwell. Mahon Falls also finished third behind higher rated horses than this in a maiden at Wolverhampton recently, while Female Strategy and The Boss Of Me have scope for improvement and are others to note making their handicap debuts.
