      Verdict

      Pretty Bubbles has been placed in 36 of her 60 starts including eleven victories and this is her surface. She can never be discounted and has gone well on numerous occasions from this sort of mark. Bouclier has a 6lb penalty for last week's victory here and is another with a decent strike-rate though the vote goes to ESCALATING. Michael Appleby's charge scored over the minimum at Southwell on his return from a break and didn't get the best of runs over this trip on a return visit. He's won on this track as has Dutiful Son, who is 8lb lower than his last victory here under tonight's rider Jim Crowley. Sophisticated Heir is another to consider in a tight handicap.
