In depth
Verdict
KING FERDINAND disappointed at Pontefract last time after landing his maiden at Chester. Dropped in class for his all-weather debut, Andrew Balding's charge can return to winning ways against this lesser opposition. Rafaaf also has his first start on Polytrack but could figure on his handicap debut Hoover, however, has gone backwards since landing his maiden at Lingfield in February. Catalinas Diamond should have done better in a maiden at Warwick last time, while Court Applause gets first-time blinkers for his return to the all-weather.
