In depth

Verdict

Lady Frances has been raised only 2lb for winning a three-runner handicap over track and trip where the odds-on favourite ran below par. CHORD CHART makes more appeal as he just failed to get the better of Primitorio at Lingfield last month and the winner has subsequently gone in again. That looks stronger form than the respective maiden victories of Value, Constantine and Claim The Roses while Threetimesalady needs more off her current mark having failed to land a hat trick at Carlisle last time.
