Verdict
Fivethousandtoone has failed to build on last year’s promise though drops in class after failing to figure in the Ayr Gold Cup. Run To Freedom won a lower grade sprint here last time and is 6lb higher while Corinthia Knight was a prolific winner on the all-weather in his younger days but this summer’s double came at Pontefract. MISHAL STAR was returning from a lay-off when third in this grade over course and distance. That was only her second start in a handicap and Tom Ward’s filly gets the vote with Gellhorn preferred of the remainder.
