In depth

Verdict

JADEYRA (NAP) improves with every start so it’s reasonable to expect further progress on her handicap debut despite her recent win coming on the Fibresand at Southwell. Simon Crisford’s yard remains in red-hot form and his filly gets the nod though plenty of others have been threatening to get their heads in front recently. Lothario finished ahead of Graceful James when runner-up over track and trip and Al Reeh wasn’t beaten far here last time while Billy Bond went close at Newcastle having won at Ayr before that. Roman Spinner is yet another placed at the track last time, though that was over 7f.
