In depth

Verdict

Rated 80, GOLDEN STUNNER has the form in the book and was only headed close home at Windsor last month having attempted to make all. She gets another chance here, though Doctor Serena will no doubt finish closer on the back of a modest debut effort at Lingfield and is preferred to Kalamata. Of the newcomers Zaakhir is a half-sister to a Group 3 winner while Peaceful Journey and Shaan are related to winners on the all-weather. But Australian Queen is the most interesting as she is a half-sister to stablemate and this year's Juddmonte International Stakes winner Arabian Queen.
