        Verdict

        Autumm Spirit is a likeable mare and beat Kadouchski by six lengths at Huntingdon on her return from a break. She should run her race again, though one would expect John Berry's gelding to reverse that form on 9lb better terms. Sadler's Star's winning run came to an abrupt end at Fontwell and he's gone up a further 2lb since, while Only Witness finished tailed off on his fencing bow at Fontwell on Friday. YVONNE EVELYN only managed one win from eight starts over hurdles but Alan King's mare has the size and scope to do better over fences and can make a winning start here.
