In depth

Verdict

ARCTIC SOFIA is on a retrieval mission having followed her course and distance victory by falling when favourite at Ballinrobe on Monday. There looks to be more to come from the five-year-old and compensation awaits. Featherinyourcap had shown glimpses of ability before turning out in a handicap confined to moderate performers at Clonmel where he was well supported and never really looked in danger. He's up 8lb but is almost certainly capable of better. Bridge Native wasn't far behind the selection here last time and would have a chance at the revised weights but fifth-placed Golden Poet looks held. Winning bumper Dasmyhoss ran his best race to date over hurdles at Clonmel and wouldn't need much more to get into contention.
