Verdict

Most of these enter the fray in excellent form. Fever Pitch won easily over the course and distance then just run out of steam when tackling further. Lethal Weapon, a Grade 1 winner way back in 2008, was gaining his first success over jumps since that day when landing a Ballinrobe handicap in May though he may have been a bit fortunate as a challenger fell at the last. Best Value made all for a convincing victory at Wexford but is up 9lb and Westhaven gained his first chasing victory at Tipperary for which he's been raised 7lb. QUARTON has joined Gordon Elliott from the UK and scored for the yard over hurdles at Bellewstown last month. He ran well at Killarney subsequently and can revert to fences on a 9lb lower mark so looks the one to be on. Dedoctorsdaughter hails from a yard firing in the winners and could hardly have been more impressive at Wexford so even a massive 12lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. Canaly has plenty of weight but has generally performed at a higher level and shouldn't be discounted.
