In depth
Verdict
Scully's Dream has form in the book over fences having been narrowly beaten in a Downpatrick handicap but it will be a surprise if he's good enough against some promising newcomers to chasing. Battle Of Midway ran in Grade 3 company after scoring at Galway and Fairyhouse on testing ground. He should make a chaser while Noel Meade also runs Moyross, who had a couple of decent runs over the bigger obstacles back in 2018 but has a long absence to overcome. Braeside never won in five starts between the flags but improved over hurdles and both trip and ground will be to his advantage. ROYAL THIEF won twice over timber last winter but has always looked potentially a better chaser as he stays well so he gets the nod in an interesting contest.
